As a lady in my fifties I have started to pay more attention to the lines that are beginning to appear around my eyes, as well as around my lip and mouth using products I can trust in my beauty routine, in conjunction with 'self ' facial reflexology & gua sha.
I am often asked about how to reduce puffiness & dark circles around the eyes, including wrinkles, so allow me to share with you some information & wonderful products that may be of help.
Weleda's Blue Gentian & Edelweiss Contouring range are organically cultivated in the Swiss Alps. Edelweiss is rich in antioxidants. The range is a unique patent-pending formulation, natural Collagen+ Active Complex to boost collagen, reduce wrinkles & bring greater definition to facial contours.
Often dark circles are hereditary, or sometimes it can be skin tone, although dark circles & puffiness around the eyes is often when someone is exhausted or could be illness. For example, exams, children, worries, night shifts & lack of sleep, or possibly a underlying health condition so it always best to talk to your GP.
For eyes you could try using a cooling eye pad, iced compresses, or heated, weighted eye pillows can help tired eyes & feel very soothing. If you place spoons in the freeezer, these can give great relief when you apply the back of the spoons gently under the eye area and around the temples too.
Another method that is effective is to use tapotement, 'tapping massage' using your fingertips to stimulate movement, however do not do this is your skin is prone to redness.
You could incorporate this as you into your wake up beauty routine. Tap around the lip area as well, to boost lip fullness & work on those smoker line's thar cab start to appear around the lips.
